Sometimes things stand in the way of clear and careful thinking. Those obstacles can relate to the way a person’s background or education, or they can be emotional or psychological states. But when a person is aware of these potential barriers they are in a position to compensate for them. Part 11 of this series on logic lists and explains common obstacles to cogent thinking.
